Live True Consultation Groups

Welcome to Live True's Existential-Humanistic Consultation Groups. Our groups provide a platform for mental health professionals to deepen their understanding of existential-humanistic methodologies, specifically phenomenological methodology and being with a client. The groups are facilitated by Justin Rock, Sarah Pattee, and Ryan Brown, all Licensed Professional Counselors with rich backgrounds in existential-humanistic therapy.

Consultation Group Details

Our consultation groups run from Fall 2024 through June 2025, offering a 9-month immersive experience. These groups are designed for registered associates, LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, and other mental health professionals interested in working from a humanistic perspective.

The groups aim to:

  • Apply existential-humanistic principals, concepts, and techniques to address various psychotherapy topics and enhance client outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strategies for integrating existential-humanistic principles into clinical practice related to various psychotherapy topics.

Continuing Education hours may be available for licensed practitioners participating in our consultation groups. (Approving pending).

Supervisor Bios

Justin Rock is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in suicidality, end-of-life transitions, polyamory, kink, and grief. He employs existential-humanistic and phenomenological methods to create a deeply empathetic and transformative therapeutic experience. Passionate about authentic connections, Justin supports clients in finding meaning and resilience through life's profound challenges.

Sarah Lincoln Pattee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose main focus is couples therapy - with a specialty in sexuality, biracial/cross-cultural couples and the intersection of trauma and intimate partnership. She wants to support newer therapists finding their place and voice in this field.

Ryan Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor who uses an existential-humanistic approach. He has extensive training in working with LGBTQ clients and specializes in issues related to gender, sexuality, and polyamory/consensual non-monogamy.
