I identify as genderqueer/gender non-conforming and believe that healing is a basic human right, with the potential for healing within each of us. The struggles of daily life and oppressive systems can cause us to lose connection to our soul and purpose, leading to suffering. Our bodies not only hold the stories of our lives but also those of our ancestors. I use both creative expression and movement as medicine to bring you into deeper connection with yourself, helping you connect more deeply to the world around you, and to provide your life with meaning. As a certified yoga instructor, I use movement, mindfulness, and art to gently guide people into connection with their true self, which is where healing can begin.
I am an art therapy student intern from Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. After spending nearly two decades working in the creative corporate world, I am now combining my passions for creativity and helping others in their healing process to become an art therapist.
My focuses include somatics, trauma, toxic work environments, Queer 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences, and grief.
I charge the following fees for my services:
- 30-Minute Initial Consultation: Free of charge
- 50-Minute Session: $50
I do not accept insurance, but you may be eligible for a full or partial reimbursement of fees paid to me as an out-of-network provider, depending on your specific insurance benefits. If you’re interested in exploring this option, I encourage you to bring it up during our initial consultation or at any point in our work together.
I currently accept cash and debit/credit cards. Payment is due at the end of each session. If you need to cancel your appointment, a 24-hour notice is required to avoid being charged for the session. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your scheduled appointment and have not contacted me to let me know you are coming, I reserve the right to leave the office.
