Julie Osburne graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University. She enjoys exploring human consciousness, the mind-body connection, and how we can use our knowledge of the human psyche to access a greater sense of choice in our lives. She is passionate about the philosophy and practice of Nonviolent Communication, and has taught it in a number of settings, including in prisons. She currently works as a therapist at Live True Counseling, and as a musician who performs and teaches. In her free time, Julie loves to find ways to play: through sports, games, visual and performance arts, trying things out of her comfort zone, and other ways of connecting with her inner little kid.
