Live True Counseling therapist, Julie Osburne, Professional Counselor Associate, discusses the existential concept of “responsibility,” and how taking responsibility can serve us even if we are not at fault for our circumstances. To hear more, check out Julie’s video below.
Julie Osburne graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University. She enjoys exploring human consciousness, the mind-body connection, and how we can use our knowledge of the human psyche to access a greater sense of choice in our lives. She is passionate about the philosophy and practice of Nonviolent Communication, and has taught it in a number of settings, including in prisons. She currently works as a therapist at Live True Counseling, and as a musician who performs and teaches. In her free time, Julie loves to find ways to play: through sports, games, visual and performance arts, trying things out of her comfort zone, and other ways of connecting with her inner little kid.
