Justin Rock, LPC, MA MFT

Licensed Professional Counselor

Approach

In the complex tapestry of human experience, I see both the challenges and the profound opportunities for growth and meaning-making. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that life's struggles, while often difficult, are gateways to profound personal transformation. I aim to journey alongside individuals and families as they navigate the spectrum from life's uncertainties to its wonders.

In our therapeutic space, I focus on fostering a relationship that empowers clients to deeply engage with their own lives, embracing the awe of being human. Rather than seeking external solutions, I encourage a journey inward, where clients can discover and craft their own paths to fulfillment.

My practice is centered around the delicate balance between what currently serves us and what we aspire to become. In this dynamic tension lies the potential for growth. I work collaboratively with clients, offering a safe and supportive environment for exploration and self-discovery.

I am committed to the deep richness of all human experience and thus work with death anxiety, LGBTQ, identity and social trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions (of any kind), relationship dynamics, polyamory & consensual non-monogamy. In every interaction, my goal is to help clients navigate the complexities of their experiences and emerge with a deeper understanding, appreciation, (and even perhaps) purpose of their journey.

Fees

Finding the right counselor for you is an important part of the therapy process. To help you know if we will work well together I offer an initial consultation - either in-person or over the phone - free of charge.

My fee structure works as follows:

  • 30 min initial consultation: Free of charge
  • 50 min individual session: $180
  • 50 min couples/relationship therapy: $180
  • 50 min clinical supervision: $130

I currently accept cash, check, and debit/credit card. Payment is due at the end of each session. In the event you need to cancel your appointment, a 24- hour notice is required to avoid being charged for the session.

I do not accept insurance; however, we are set up to take FSA/HSA cards.

The most powerful tool in therapy is the relationship built by our therapists and their clients. That’s why we offer a free 30-minute consultation to determine if we’d be a good fit.
